Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting
held in Bromsberrow Village Hall
on Tuesday 29th November 2016

Present: Chairman D Morgan
Councillors: Y Fortey, D Hunter, E Wilson
Also Present:  D Baldwin Clerk to the Council

1. Apologies for absence -: Apologies were received and accepted for Councillors J Rann
and N Terry.

2. To receive Declarations of Interest.
No declarations of interest were received at this point in of the meeting. .

3. Public Participation
There were no members of the public present.

4. Telephone Box
Councillor Fortey presented the quote for the repainting of the Telephone box at the Cross in Bromsberrow Heath. The costs would be £150 for the painting of the exterior or £230 for the exterior and interior, both with undercoat and topcoat.
RESOLUTION: That the quote for £150 to paint the exterior of the telephone box be accepted.

5. BT Payphone Kiosks
Councillors considered the BT formal consultation process regarding the current programme of the intended removal, or adoption by the Parish Council, of the Payphone in Bromsberrow. After consideration Councillors felt that due to the continued vandalising of the kiosk that it was not a heritage box and its lack of use decided to:
RESOLUTION: That the Council agree to the removal of the kiosk by BT

6. Planning
Councillors considered the correspondence received in response to the concerns submitted from the Parish Council regarding the retrospective application from Yew Tree Bungalow. Although Councillors understood the planning officer’s response they did not feel he understood the local knowledge, which should be taken into consideration. Some of the comments submitted were also agreed by the Ward Member, especially regarding setting a precedent and commercial use.
After discussion it was decided that the Clerk reply, clarifying the situation and giving an explanation of the comments submitted.
RESOLUTION: That the clerk reply to the Development Manager to explain the comments of the Parish Council.
